CCU to hold information sessions on new master’s degree program
Coastal Carolina University will hold two free information sessions about its new Master of Arts in Liberal Studies degree program April 23 at 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at CCU’s Litchfield Education Center, 4427 Ocean Highway at Litchfield Landing.
The sessions will be led by Donald Sloan, director of the program and professor of music at CCU, and last approximately one hour. Refreshments will be served.
The new program is for students who seek a broad educational experience and features interdisciplinary approaches to examine a wide range of topics and issues. It will enable students to improve their written and verbal communications skills and develop critical thinking abilities in various disciplines.
The 30-hour program has a required four-course core and six electives from CCU’s graduate offerings.
